• Stubbs Government School in St Vincent receives Thornhill's donations

  After a long journey across the Atlantic Ocean, Thornhill's donations to Stubbs Government School in St Vincent and the Grenadines has arrived safely and securely to assist with the devastation caused by the La Soufrière volcano eruption. Thank you again to the wonderful Thornhill community for coming together at this time to help support such an important cause.

  

• Year 6 Leavers Celebrations

  On Wednesday 21^st July we celebrated Year 6’s time at Thornhill.  It kicked off with a dazzling performance of Oliver!  The acting, singing and team effort was spectacular! This was followed by guest speaker Darren Lewis (Assistant Editor of Daily Mirror), the outstanding Year 6 Class poetry performances and rounded off with their graduation.  It is both sad and exciting as we bid farewell to our wonderful Year 6 class of 2021.  They have all worked extremely hard, showing great resilience despite many challenges.  I am confident we will hear great and wonderful things about their accomplishments in secondary school and beyond.  We wish them a fond farewell and the very best wishes. 

   

  Bella from Meteors said “I hope that when I go to Camden School for Girls it will be just like Thornhill because everyone was so wonderful here”.

  

• Van Gogh Alive

  We love when pupils continue their learning outside of school! Romilly, Imogen and Chloe visited the Van Gogh Alive exhibition at the weekend to continue their learning about the artist.

• PTA Summer Fair 2021

  Here are some photos from today’s PTA Summer Fair. It was a fun-packed day which included a bouncy castle, ice cream van, badge-making station with Islington Libraries, jam jar raffles, cookie decorating stations, tennis fun, football games, pony & goat petting stations, a DJ, arts & crafts, hair braiding, food from around the world, and more!

   

  Thank you to each and every parent volunteer who dedicated some of their time to the Summer Fair today.

   

  Thank you to Hamptons International for generous sponsorship of our Summer Fair! It makes such a huge difference for all the children at Thornhill.

  

• EYFS Graduation

  EYFS graduated today with an incredible performance of songs and poems. They had a graduation ceremony in which Miss Lewis gave them their certificates and then got to celebrate after with a tea party! We are so proud of each and every child! 👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓🎓
