  • Ducklings hatch at Thornhill

    As part of Science Week, we were lucky enough to take care of duck eggs and watch them hatch.

     

    Over the weekend, Ms Jodie and Ms B from the office cared for the ducklings over the weekend and even got to witness a duckling hatch right before their very eyes!

  • Year 4 Pupil is a player escort at the England v Croatia Euros!

    Our very own Thornhill pupil, Mason from Year 4, had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to be an official Just Eat player escort at the England v Croatia Euros match at Wembley this Sunday. Mason and his mum had a fantastic day making new friends and watching England win against Croatia!

    Science Week 2021

    Tuesday's itinerary included rocket-making! The children had a BLAST launching their rockets high up into the sky đŸš€

     

    The Starchaser Rocket team also visited Thornhill with their real-life rocket. We learnt that this rocket actually launches into space but does not carry humans!

     

  • Reception learn about Vincent Van Gogh

    Reception have been learning all about Vincent Van Gogh and his artwork. They created observational paintings based on his famous series, Sunflowers.
